Messenger Bulk Cleaner helps users automatically delete unwanted Facebook Messenger conversations through the visible Messenger web interface.
The extension performs actions only after the user starts the cleanup process. It provides controls to start, pause, resume, and stop the automation.
To perform its single purpose, the extension temporarily reads the visible structure of Messenger pages in the browser. This may include information contained in conversation rows and the page elements required to identify action menus and deletion controls.
This processing is performed locally in the user's browser and is necessary for the extension to perform its requested function.
Messenger Bulk Cleaner does not intentionally transmit Messenger conversations, message contents, names, profile information, passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, or browsing history to the developer or to third-party servers.
The extension does not use a developer-owned backend server, external API, analytics service, advertising tracker, or Facebook/Meta API credentials.
The extension performs its automation locally in the browser. Temporary information such as counters, running status, pause status, and status messages exists only during the active extension/page session.
Messenger conversation content is not intentionally stored in a developer-controlled database or transmitted outside the browser.
Messenger Bulk Cleaner does not intentionally collect or store:
We do not sell user data.
We do not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness assessment, lending, or unrelated purposes.
The extension requires access to Messenger pages because its core functionality operates by reading and interacting with the visible Messenger web interface.
The extension's host access is limited to Messenger-related pages required for its functionality and is not intended for unrelated browsing activity.
Messenger Bulk Cleaner performs a destructive action when deleting a conversation. Users should review what they intend to delete before starting a cleanup.
The extension is designed to skip an action when it cannot confidently identify the expected deletion control rather than guessing.
Messenger Bulk Cleaner deletes conversations from the user's Messenger inbox. It does not provide an individual-message "unsend for everyone" function.
Messenger Bulk Cleaner does not intentionally send user data to developer-controlled third-party services.
Facebook and Messenger are operated independently by Meta Platforms, Inc. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and terms.
If future versions materially change how user information is handled, this privacy policy will be updated to accurately describe those changes before or alongside the applicable release.
Support and privacy contact information will be provided through the Messenger Bulk Cleaner Chrome Web Store listing.
