Alpha Develops built the Time Burn app as an offline-first contemplation and focus application. This SERVICE is provided by Alpha Develops at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We respect your privacy. Time Burn is designed with strict data minimization principles: your data belongs to you and stays on your device.

2. Microphone Permission & Real-Time Audio Processing

Time Burn includes an optional interactive feature called "Breath & Flame", which allows you to gently blow toward your device's microphone to interactively affect the virtual candle flame.

100% On-Device & Zero Storage: Audio input is analyzed strictly in real-time on your device to calculate air amplitude. No audio recordings, voice samples, or sound files are ever saved, stored, logged, or transmitted across the internet.

Permission: android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO is requested only when enabling the Breath & Flame feature.
Usage: Real-time amplitude calculation for candle flame animation.
Data Retention: Audio buffer data is discarded immediately after analysis. Zero audio data is written to disk or sent to servers.

3. Information Collection & Local Storage

Time Burn does not collect, harvest, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

Local Preferences: App preferences (such as ambient audio, reduced motion, haptics, and custom journey titles) are stored locally on your device using Android's standard local storage (SharedPreferences / SQLite).
No Cloud Sync: Your session history and settings remain solely on your physical device.

4. Third-Party Services & Tracking

Time Burn does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, or behavioral analytics services. We do not sell, rent, or trade any user information to third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

Time Burn does not address anyone under the age of 13, nor does it knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
